While pursuing a business degree, Charles Langevin took a business law course where he discovered his love for the law. The following semester he transferred to Clayton State University in Morrow, Georgia to pursue a paralegal degree. Charles graduated cum laude in 2007 with a degree in Paralegal Studies.
Charles was offered a position with a large bankruptcy law firm just before graduating. Within 6 months of starting, he became a paralegal supervisor. He worked there for 4 years and handled tens of thousands of chapter 7 & chapter 13 bankruptcy cases. After 4 years, he grew disgusted with the way that clients were treated and the amount of money that they were charged. He found a new position with a much smaller law firm, where service was a little better and the fees were a little bit lower. After 4 years, however, the fees increased and most of the staff was let go to maximize profit. He realized that his clients were being abused by high fees and poor service and that they would continue to be abused unless he did something about it. He decided to start his own business as a non-attorney bankruptcy petition preparer helping individuals file bankruptcy for a low fee of only $249.
In March, 2013, he started $249 Bankruptcy. At first, he would meet with people in their homes, coffee shops, fast food restaurants, and anywhere else he could sit down with people. Eventually, he realized he could not afford to drive all over Metro Atlanta while only charging $249.
In January, 2014 he rented an office at Hartsfield Centre where he could combine his bankruptcy business with his tax business, which he had done part-time since 2001. In order to put all of his services under one banner, he changed the name to Simplified Document Solutions.

We have found that the schools are often not following the law or their own rules in hopes that you will not know or understand your rights. Unfortunately, many students and parents don't know or understand their rights and the student suffers because of it. We have found success many schools, including, Marquette University, Saint Leo University, Clayton County Public Schools, & Henry County Public Schools.
